This game is amazing and, in all honesty it is among the very few games with its own kind. “Remedy” has put the nail in nail with this title, and all who have played this game and me included, will surely be praising the game “As one of my favorite games for the coming year”. Alan Wake is basically a psychological thriller, and each element of it is superb. Even though, this particular game took a lot of time to release. It was definitely worth the long wait.
The breathtaking visuals, the captivating plot, character development and the chilling setting is enough to keep the player engaged and cause them to feel as if they’re in the fictional town of Bright Falls (The location in which the story is set). Alan Wake is all about explorationand fighting against evil forces that appear to have taken over the quiet town. The game was initially designed to be released exclusively for Xbox 360. Xbox 360. However, it was later rolled out to the PC too, which is quite cool, considering that PC gamers could have not had the chance to play an thrilling games in the genre of survival horror.
However, there are many other games that have revolutionized this kind of game. I believe these three games should be featured, not just because they’re amazing however, they also had something different to provide… They are new innovative, inspirational and original which, I’m sure will provide inspiration to the next generation of game developers and designers in the near future.
