Video and computer games have become a phenomenon in the world and are more well-known than ever before. This is the exact reason that the gift of a video game and present is convenient.
There’s an array of games available, and it’s often challenging to pick which one to purchase for your loved ones.
Below are some descriptions of 2 games that can bring smiles to the faces of many males. (I take this as a reference to the fact that I’m an adult male and have played for years, and I’m sure I would like to get one of these games as a present).
The two titles listed are designed for Xbox 360, as well as other platforms.
1. Doom 3 – BFG Edition
In the ’90s, Doom was a hugely popular game in the 1990s. It was a game that was revolutionary that, in my opinion, helped make an entire First-Person-Shooter (FPS) category into the game that it is today.
A few years later, Doom 2 was released, and the players of the first game were raving. It was impossible to get enough, and Doom’s place in the history of gaming was secure.
In 2004, Doom 3 was released, and it was so much in advance that a lot of Doom players didn’t have computers that were powerful enough to play the game, and so many of us were left out on this fantastic game.
The BFG Edition is available. It’s a collection of Doom games and other add-ons which are improved with a console-specific optimization like the well-known Xbox 360. It is also available on PC. BFG Edition is available for PCs too.
This bundle comprises Doom 1, Doom 2, Doom 3, the “Resurrection of Evil” expansion, and”Lost Missions” “Lost Missions.”
For those who are older and would like to experience the nostalgia of having fun with Doom 1 or 2 in a new way or who haven’t played Doom 3, this would be a great present.
2. Far Cry 3
Far Cry 3 is another game that falls under the genre of First-Person-Shooter as of the moment when this article was written; it’s not yet launched. It is, however, able to be ordered in advance since its release date is scheduled for the near future.
I’ve played the predecessor to this game – Far Cry 2 – several times, and I think it was terrific. The detail level in images, the storyline, and everything else in Far Cry 2 were astounding.
I’ve seen the trailers and read every article I could on Far Cry 3 and basing my decision on that and my admiration for Far Cry 2, I believe it will become something that will be a classic in the making.
I haven’t met a player, female or male, who wouldn’t be thrilled to get this game for a gift.
