Top Ten Games for Nintendo 64

Since 1996, the Nintendo 64 has seen hundreds of games come out. It can be difficult to decide which games you want to purchase. Here’s a list of the top ten Nintendo 64 games you should own and their reasons why they are important.

10. Perfect Dark

This is the successor to Goldeneye 077. The game’s original gameplay was maintained by the developers, but there were additional multiplayer features. If you don’t have enough friends, you can create custom bots to battle against. Six multiplayer modes. There are four human players and eight computers playing simultaneously. Perfect Dark is the best multiplayer shooter.

9. Conker’s Bad Fur Day:

A surprise Nintendo 64 game that wasn’t geared towards the typical N64 youth audience. Although it contains adult themes and cusses words, the game is still one of my favorite games. The gameplay is also great. Conker was also created by the same developers that made Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, and Goldeneye. This means you can be sure that the multiplayer action is top-notch.

8. Mario Golf

18 holes of golf with Mario and his friends. Although this arcade-style golf game may not be the most realistic, it’s still fun and can be played for hours. To unlock new characters, play as a single player. Play against your friends using your unlocked characters. This game was a huge hit for me. I played it for hundreds of hours since its inception. For a year, a friend and I played 18 every day after school. If it keeps me coming back for so many hours, then it must be fun.

7. Star Wars Racer

A racing game that is based on the Star Wars Episode 1 racing scenes. You can race in many of the same events as Anakin. You can choose a different craft to race in the same events, but some are faster than others, and you will be able to beat all of your competition. This one is sure to be a hit with Star Wars fans.

6. Super Smash Bros.

is a simple but fun fighting game with all of the Nintendo characters. You can fight as Mario, Bowser, or even some of the less well-known Nintendo characters such as Ness from Earthbound. It is easier to play than most other fighters because it only uses two buttons and the joystick.

5. Mario Party

The original party game for video games. A board game that you can play on your TV. To collect stars, roll the dice. Players can play against one another or in teams to earn coins that they can use for special items. This is a great way to play with four friends, especially if you keep losing your Monopoly dice. These dice are irreplaceable.

4. Mario Kart 64

A sequel to Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64 runs faster and is in 3D. You should race around the track to get to the end first, but be aware of attack items that your opponents may use. You will be hit by red shells, stars, and the dreaded, blue shell. This is the multiplayer game my friends and I want to play whenever we play Nintendo 64.

The Nintendo 64’s main launch title. It demonstrated the Nintendo 64’s 3D capabilities, allowing Mario to enter the third dimension for the first time.
